Kon Tum Province lies in the Central Highlands region of Vietnam and shares borders with Laos and Cambodia. It has an area of 9,934 square kilometers and a population of some 330,000. The economy is primarily agricultural.Administration

Kon Tum is divided into 8 districts/wards: Đăk Tô, Đăk Hà, Đăkglei, Kon Plong, Ngọc Hồi, Thị xã Kontum, Sa Thầy, and KonRẫy.

Geography

Neighboring provinces are Quảng Nam to the north, Quảng Ngãi to the east and Gia Lai to the south. The capital city is Kon Tum.

Buses and minibuses leave for Plei Ku, Buon Ma Thuot, Qui Nhon, Quang Ngai, and Hue, Ha Noi, Nha Trang and Ho Chi Minh City/SaiGon on a daily basis.

You can hire a car or jeep at any hotel or at the Kon Tum tourist office.
